Ash-Mir

He saw a long body, upside down, hanging by one of its legs as though nailed to the air. The other leg crossed the first at the knee, whilst the body, hairless and without gender, twisted and squirmed as if in the throes of agony. The arms were flung wide, pulled almost to their limits, whilst the hands reached, taloned fingers flexing. The head was small, bald and featureless, except for a cavernous mouth, which contained only one thing – a great, wet eye, yellow with malice.
